The balcony is a great place for entertaining, children can run free around the garden below, beware a stream runs alongside the garden so not suitable for unsupervised children.

The village itself has two welcoming pubs if you prefer to dine out, while the nearest village store can be found in Veryan, just a mile away.
The renowned Southwest Coast Path passes directly through Portloe, making it a haven for walkers and nature lovers. The area’s mild climate supports a rich variety of wildlife and diverse flora, and there are many beautiful country houses and gardens nearby to explore. Among the most popular is the Lost Gardens of Heligan, one of the UK’s most celebrated botanical gardens, where you can wander through over 80 acres of enchanting grounds. Alternatively, visit Caerhays Castle and Gardens, set within 60 acres of stunning woodland and coastline.

The city is a great destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment, with a wide range of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes, as well as live performances at the popular Hall for Cornwall.
